IDM92010 Upper-Intermediate, Module III

At the end of the course, the student will be able to effectively follow and take part in mid complexity exchanges with native and non-native speakers with different accents, within a considerably wide range of subjects, with good fluency and accuracy, and showing some cross-cultural knowledge and consistent use of register; read with a good degree of independence within a wide range of text types, and write clear, coherent, detailed and well-organized mid complexity texts on a wide range of known subjects with a good use of register.

IDM92007 Intermediate, Module III

At the end of the course, the student will be able to understand low complexity exchanges both in person and on the telephone by native speakers at normal speed and standard English, and actively take part in them with considerable fluency and accuracy, expanding on a good number of ideas and with acceptable use of register; read with considerable degree of independence, understanding the central ideas and a good number of details, including some idiomatic expressions in mid complexity texts, and write mid-complexity texts with a considerable degree of information about familiar subjects, and with acceptable use of register.

At the end of this unit, the student will be able to carry out a mid-complexity negotiation, and to report on it.

IDM92006 Intermediate, Module II

At the end of the course, the student will be able to understand the central ideas and a number of details in simple exchanges with factual and some abstract information uttered by native speakers at normal speed and standard English, as well as respond to them with acceptable fluency, and expanding on several ideas; understand the central ideas and a number of details in low complexity written texts, and write low complexity texts on familiar subjects.

IDM92002 Elementary, Module II

At the end of the course, the student will be able to understand and take part in simple exchanges on personal and professional factual information with native speakers at a naturally slow speed; understand the central ideas and some details in simple written texts, and write simple texts about familiar subjects.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to understand and take part in simple exchanges on personal and professional factual information with native speakers at a naturally slow speed; understand the central ideas and some details in simple written texts, and write simple texts about familiar subjects.
